The agricultural sector in Lebanon has faced significant challenges for over three decades, with issues intensifying since 2020 due to the pandemic, financial crisis, and geopolitical instability leading to destructive conflict. This turmoil has severely impacted the country’s food security.
Yet, in the face of war and airstrikes, farmers persist in salvaging their production and harvesting their crops. A testament to this unwavering resilience is H. Farmlands, a legacy that spans over a century, passed down from father to son.

Born out of the LOVE for the LAND!!!
“Terre Verte is an entity born out of the LOVE for the LAND, the origins
of agriculture, the beauty of heritage, history, and the ambition of getting people closer to experiencing it all.”
The story started in H Farmlands that was established in 1958 by the Late Dr. Adnan Haidar in Labweh village at an altitude of 900 m above sea level over 250 hectares of prime land with a wide range of fruits and vegetables production in full swing. https://lnkd.in/dj7B5AVq
Faithfull to its heritage, it is still a 3rd generation family-owned farm managed by his son Eng. Rayan Haidar (Founder of Terre Verte)

Welcoming Mr. Tom Healey
It gives us a great honor to share that Mr. Thomas Healey will be supporting Terre Verte as senior advisor and consultant to help grow our consultancy business and reach.
Tom has served as a Senior Executive in the global protein and food ingredient sectors. He has held pivotal roles including Executive Leadership, Global Supply Chain Management, International Business Development, Global R&D and Quality Assurance, International Sales, and Commodity Insights for a variety of Fortune 100 Companies.
Tom earned a BS in Animal Science, and an MS in Genetics and Food Science from Mississippi State University providing him with a unique background that compliments his work experience spanning 33 years in the food industry.
